Day One:
Your Colorado Adventure begins in the southwestern suite of your choice where a truly one of a kind Colorado gift basket awaits your arrival. This unique basket features some of the finest gourmet goodies and snacks produced in the state of Colorado for you to enjoy throughout your stay at the inn.
Day Two:
A white water river expedition is next on your list of Colorado adventures, choose from one of the following whitewater excursions:

Paddle-n-Saddle: Combine a half day of white water rafting through scenic Bighorn Canyon with a riverside lunch and a two hour horseback ride through the scenic mountains surrounding the Arkansas River Valley.

Raft-n-Rail: Enjoy a half day of white water rafting on the Arkansas River followed by lunch served on the riverbank and a picturesque train ride through the world famous Royal Gorge.
Day Three:
After enjoying a full breakfast head off to the summit of Pikes Peak on the historic Cog Railway. Sit back and relax as the world's highest cog rail train takes you takes you on a scenic journey to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak and see for yourself why this mountain was the inspiration for "America the Beautiful".
Last but not least...following your excursion to the summit of "America's Mountain" you'll be pampered with a luxurious couples massage at a nearby local day spa with licensed massage therapists.

Rocky Mountain Train Tour Package
 
All Aboard! We've "engineered" an incredibly scenic package that allows you to "conduct" the perfect Colorado getaway with four fabulous nights, three historic train rides and unlimited Colorado scenery!
Day One:
Awaiting your arrival in the southwestern suite of your choice is the perfect outdoor adventure gift basket for you to enjoy on one of scenic excursions that await you during your stay. This basket comes fully loaded with assorted gourmet goodies such as decadent chocolates, cheese and specialty crackers, assorted snacks and sparkling cider along with a unique picnic tote, blanket and champagne glasses to keep as mementos of your stay.
Day Two:
Begin your day with a full gourmet breakfast at the inn featuring southwestern and traditional cuisine. Next on your itinerary a spectacular excursion on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway awaits, the world's highest Cog Wheel Route ascending 9 miles to the 14,115 foot summit of Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain".
Day Three:
Following another memorable breakfast, enjoy what is considered to be one of the most scenic train rides in the world, the historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad. This breathtaking journey travels 24 miles through the 1,000 foot deep Royal Gorge alongside the whitewater rapids of the Arkansas River. During your trip, you'll have the opportunity to observe bald eagles, rocky mountain bighorn sheep, mule deer and native flora. Consider upgrading this coach train ride to the Gourmet Lunch or Wine Express for an additional fee.
Day Four:
After breakfast at the inn, a Colorado Gold Country exploration is next on your itinerary. The Cripple Creek and Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad reveals scenic wonders around every curve as this century old steam locomotive transports you back to the gold mining days of Cripple Creek and Victor, Colorado. A scenic auto tour is also incorporated into this day's itinerary, additional route information is provided upon check-in.

The High Country Jeep Tour is for those who like a little less "soft" in their adventure. This 4-wheel drive tour explores the rugged beauty of the Colorado Rockies on dirt roads and 4x4 trails high up in the Pike National Forest offering alpine views of mountain meadows, wildflowers, beaver ponds and streams.

The Cripple Creek Ghost Town Tour is perfect for history buffs that enjoy beautiful scenery. This tour follows the gentle curves of the old Short Line Railroad built in 1901, an engineering marvel with 10 tunnels carved through granite ridges and provides an exploration of the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District one of the richest gold mining camps in the world.

Pikes Peak by Bike
Enjoy a 20 mile guided downhill bike adventure starting at the summit of Pikes Peak. You'll journey through five different life zones, each zone offering a different climate, vegetation and wildlife. Keep your eyes out for eagles, deer, elk, bighorn sheep, marmot and black bears. This adventure includes a continental breakfast, transportation to the summit, equipment and lunch at Wines of Colorado.
